Fitnessgram testing
After finding the journal articles and websites for this class I found fitnessgram testing as an interesting mix of technology and physical education. The software itself makes it easy for a student and the teacher to individually assess the student's level of fitness. The program includes charts and graphs along with writing the results in paragraph form. The cost is also fairly inexpensive and most of the time can be funded with a grant when the institiution puts the time in to find a grant. I also think the series of fitnessgram test are better then the traditional president's challenge testing and is easier to assess.

I agree. I think fitnessgram testing is a great way to combine fitness and technology. The use of audio for the tests such as the push up test and the pacer test allow you to incorporate technology with the actual assessment. The way the printouts are make it easy for everyone to read with the charts and maps, as well as written assessments.
